About
For 25-years, I worked as a caregiver to older adults who preferred to stay in their homes. Some were quite active and living independently, needing little help. There were those living at home Aging in Place, finding life more challenging and requiring various degrees of support, and others in different stages of dementia or Alzheimer’s.
I also managed an apartment complex for many years. As an apartment manager, I wore many hats. As well as working in the office, I enjoyed hands-on cleaning and making the apartments ready for new tenants. Over the years, I developed the micro-cleaning method to organize my time.
I adapted micro-cleaning in my own small space. And as a caregiver, I engaged my physically active clients, those with mobility issues or various stages of Alzheimer’s or dementia, with micro-cleaning tasks.
